Rome and Sorrento Learning Opportunity

ENGLISH VERSION New Partnership between Sant’Anna Institute & The American University of Rome (AUR) Sant’Anna Institute-Sorrento Lingue is very pleased to announce the partnership with The American University of Rome.

A Memorandum of Understanding was recently signed to signal the two institutions’ commitment to work together and provide unique high quality educational experiences in Sorrento and Rome. To launch the partnership Sant’Anna will be offering a course on Pompeii and Herculaneum, “The Cities of Fire” in Rome and Sorrento as part of Sant’Anna NEW J-Term (January 2014) as well as further initiatives to be announced soon.

President Cristiana Panicco, of the Sant’Anna Institute declared: “We are very excited to collaborate with the American University of Rome to provide a unique high-quality educational experience in Sorrento and Rome. We believe both institutions share a common vision: to offer students an opportunity for personal and cultural growth through the hands-on discovery of authentic Italy.” President Richard Hodges, of the American University of Rome (AUR) added: “This partnership will allow students from both our institutions even greater access to iconic Italy. Where better to study the civilization and culture of Italy than in these two great centers?”

VERSIONE ITALIANA NUOVA Partnership tra Sant’Anna Institute & The American University of Rome (AUR) Il Sant’Anna Institute-Sorrento Lingue è lieto di annunciare la partnership con l’American University of Rome (AUR). Le due istituzioni hanno da poco siglato un Memorandum di intesa finalizzato a gettare le basi di una proficua collaborazione, tale da garantire agli studenti un’esperienza formativa di assoluta eccellenza a Sorrento e a Roma. Come prima iniziativa sviluppata grazie a questa collaborazione, il Sant’Anna organizzerà a Sorrento e Roma un programma di archeologia focalizzato su Pompei ed Ercolano, nell’ambito dei suoi nuovi J-Term (gennaio 2014). Ulteriori iniziative e programmi saranno comunicati prossimamente.
